Interfaith Forums

A series of forums for key community and religious representatives and young people.  Forums of inter-faith dialogue are needed to move from violent conflict to a creative future in the UK as well as globally. Direct and facilitated interaction can transform perception and relationships and lead to an understanding of how we perpetuate or transform conflict dynamics in our communities. This project will be developed in cooperation with community leaders in the UK - Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and other faiths. The forums will also include people who identify as secular, but are interested in cooperation between these groups. Forums will include individuals and representatives from organizations, who are active in their communities. Participants will work on emotional and polarized positions together and cooperate on initiating, developing and implementing essential peace-building activities in their communities.
